LEARNING WITH STEM

ABOUT PROJECT


With this project, we plan to enrich learning with first-year students (5-7 years) with STEM-based activities. By integrating interdisciplinary STEM into the first-class curriculum, we will provide meaningful and permanent learning. Throughout the project, our aim is to equip students with skills and competencies according to their abilities

DESTINATIONS

-STEM approach to different courses by establishing a relationship between problem solving, flexible thinking, to gain the synthesis of information in different fields

WORKING PROCESS
-In January; Project partners schools and students will share photos and videos about their cities. The project partners will prepare the logo and poster work and will be determined by voting.
- In February, they will send postcards, brochures. Students will meet each other over the Internet.
-In march; They will implement the first stem plan. Chooses useful food and drinks for health. Recipes will be given to each other and these recipes will be applied. Selected pictures and videos will be taken during the students' works and will be shared on the appropriate pages.
- Stem plan will be implemented in April. It complies with traffic rules when arriving or going to school. Pictures and videos will be taken and shared on the appropriate pages.
- In May; Stem plan to be applied. Distinguishes the materials that can be recycled. During the work of the students, their pictures and videos will be taken and shared on the appropriate pages. In the last weeks, the project partners will prepare their e-books together with their works in the project.
-In June, the application of the final test to parents and evaluation of the project with students and parents.

EXPECTED RESULTS
At the end of this project, our students will be able to learn from the traditional methods in a more efficient and fun way.
-Improves communication skills by exchanging information.
-21st century skills will win.
-Will learn ways to express themselves by using different methods.
-They will learn to be individuals rather than individuals who consume technology.
-Research skills, Flexible thinking and problem-solving skills will be improved
- Recognize the environment and culture.
- They will increase their knowledge about foreign cultures.
